Hi! I’m Kellita

Counselor in Brentwood, TN

I’m a Marriage and Family Therapist in Brentwood, TN.

I have the privilege of assisting couples and individuals facing a myriad of challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. Through a neutral and empathetic approach, I strive to create a safe and understanding environment for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions.

I work collaboratively with clients to help them navigate their struggles, rebuild connections, and develop effective coping strategies. Witnessing the growth and resilience of my clients on their journey toward healing and self-discovery is truly rewarding and reinforces my passion for this important work

How my passion developed…

Growing up as a child of divorce has profoundly shaped my life and instilled within me a desire to help others. Witnessing firsthand the gut-wrenching emotions, confusion, and instability that accompanied my parents' separation, I developed a keen understanding of the profound impact that divorce and family conflict can have.

This experience ignited within me an innate empathy and compassion for others facing similar challenges. I realized that during trying times, a supportive and empathetic presence can make a world of difference in someone's life.

My personal journey has fueled my desire to become a source of guidance and support for those navigating life’s many challenges.

How I can help…

I am passionate about working with people who want a deeper understanding of where they came from, how they got here, and how to change.

Trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues can all prevent you from living your life to its full potential. I understand the profound impact these conditions can have on individuals, their relationships, and their overall well-being. My approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and evidence-based techniques tailored to each client's unique needs.

Through a collaborative therapeutic alliance, I help my clients explore the root causes of their anxiety and depression, reprocess trauma, develop coping strategies, and change ineffective relational patterns. I aim to empower clients with the tools necessary to overcome the challenges that are keeping them from fully living their lives.

Clients come to me seeking an empathetic approach but also need someone to help them dig deeper and get to the root of their struggles.

My goal is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly express their emotions, find healing, and discover their resilience. Together, we navigate the complexities of trauma, anxiety, and depression, fostering hope, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose.

I welcome the opportunity to help you and your family to achieve the peace and harmony you deserve.
