  • The first session can be intimidating for many people, especially if this is your first experience with therapy. During this meeting, we will both start to get to know one another. I will take a full history as well as begin to understand your concerns and goals for therapy.

  • According to John Bolby, attachment is defined as a “lasting psychological connectedness between human beings”. An individual’s attachment style is largely influenced by their early relationship with caregivers. This style of relating to others determines how you form relationships throughout the lifespan. Once you understand your style, the way you connect with others begins to make sense.

  • I am private pay and do not contract with insurance companies.

  • It is impossible to give a definitive answer to this question as it is dependent on the client and the presenting issue. My goal when working with you and your family is to provide you with the appropriate tools so that my services are not needed long-term.

  • I hold the majority of my sessions in person. However, I do offer telehealth for times when a client cannot make it into the office and on a case-by-case basis.

  • I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Aside from extenuating circumstances, sessions not canceled within this time frame will be charged the full session rate.

  • My fee is $165 per clinical hour.
