Brainspotting

Brainspotting in Brentwood, TN

“Where you look affects how you feel.”

Brainspotting (BSP) was discovered in 2003 by David Grand, Ph.D as a means to bypass the neocortex and gain access to deeper regions of the brain where unconscious memories are stored. Brainspotting uses eye position and bilateral stimulation to reprocess stuck memories so that they no longer become activated. Once these memories are reprocessed, their significance is reduced, leading to improved mental and physical health. Brainspotting is beneficial for treating trauma, anxiety, depression and chronic pain. It can also be used for creativity and performance enhancement.
